Support University and College Application
Assistance
One of the most important aspects of students' academic experience
is their preparation for post-secondary education. McDonald International
Academy is directly linked with OUAC (Ontario Universities' Application
Centre), and OCAS (Ontario College Application Services) to facilitate
quick and accurate mark submission, making your University/College
application process that much easier. MIA offers comprehensive guidance
and personal advice for all students in order to facilitate the college/university
application process. Upon graduation, our students are then able to
continue with their education, well equipped with the skills necessary
to succeed. Beginning from admission, our experienced teachers help
the students to plan their post-secondary school careers. During the
school year, students are given guidance with the college/university
application process. As well, university and college representatives
will be visiting our campus throughout the year to speak directly
and candidly with the graduating students. Our staff will also take
students on supervised visits of the campuses in which they have shown
interest. Course Planning and Personal Care and Counseling
Because of the variety of courses that MIA offers, students are able
to take the specific subjects required in order to prepare them for
their post-secondary education. Courses in Business, Mathematics,
Sciences, Social Sciences, and the Arts are taught by experienced,
certified teachers, each working in his/her area of expertise, and
using the most up-to-date resources. A very high level of importance
is placed on academic excellence at MIA, and consequently, our students
receive concise, relevant instruction in each of the various subject
areas. The instructors at MIA recognize high school as one of the
most exciting and yet stressful experiences in a young person's life.
With the help and guidance of all the staff at MIA, our students will
be prepared to make intelligent, informed decisions about their post-secondary
education. |
